What you will do: Team Chomps is searching for a highly motivated and skilled eCommerce Product Manager to build, manage, and innovate Chomps eCommerce system architecture. Chomps began as DTC only and our eCommerce channel continues to be a key strategic growth lever and focus area. You will create seamless user experiences that meet customer’s needs and satisfy high-growth business objectives. This role will lead building, strategizing, identifying, and enabling our tech stack integrations. You will own the continued build out of the Chomps data warehouse and dashboard to enhance cross-functional decision making (marketing, operations, customer service, etc.). You have the ability to break down complex business needs and apply technical know-how and knowledge to implement smart, efficient and effective solutions that support a cross-functional omni-channel organization. Our goal is to maximize the value of the tools we already have in place while evaluating and continuously improving upon the evolving trends in user experience, user journey, CRO optimization and data collection.

Responsibilities:

  • Development
    • Manage the Shopify Plus CMS and third-party integrations with B2C and B2B websites
    • Ensure site compliance and best practices for website accessibility, working with an outside partner to audit and execute
    • Collaborate closely with UX Design to use site performance data to recommend user journey enhancements
    • Develop technical requirements for site enhancements, custom solutions, or add-ons
    • As needed, lead relationships and collaborate with external agency or contractors responsible for building and managing our website
    • Proactively plan, project manage, communicate release cycles, delays, risks and project dependencies with key stakeholders across the organization
    • Usher web projects through the entire project lifecycle (research/scoping, development, testing and deployment)
    • Collaborate with both the Ecom and marketing team on building dedicated paid media or partnership landing pages
    • Remain abreast of new technologies and trends in the eCommerce retail space, evaluate and propose whether to incorporate changes for site enhancements
    • Adding, editing, and managing products, collections, and inventory in Shopify Plus with knowledge of subscription tool, ReCharge
    • Prove out the ROI of the investments recommended and implemented
  • Product Management
    • Partner with marketing colleagues to understand business goals and recommend eCommerce solutions designed to support those goals
    • Owner of internal data warehouse and enabler of data accessibility across teams
    • Primary contributor to selection, implementation, and maintenance of ERP in 2022.
    • Lead role in selection, implementation, and maintenance of cross-functional BI tool and live dashboarding

Who You Are

  • BA or BS degree required, other equivalent / advanced degree a plus
  • 3-5 years in eCommerce Product Management, Development, or relevant role
  • Record of delivering best in class web UX and CX across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Experience working directly with Shopify Plus
  • Experience in system integrations and migrations
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Shopify Plus app integrations
    • Subscription (Recharge Pro a plus)
    • Loyalty Programs (i.e. Swell a plus)
    • Sales Enablement Tools like bulk discounts, upselling, special promotions, etc
    • Reviews (Yotpo a plus) and syndication in search results and to wholesale partners
  • Knowledge and experience working within a CRM system for B2C and B2B
    • Klaviyo a plus
  • Experience working directly with marketing team on accurate site tracking through platforms like GA (GTM), and familiarity in data-backed testing and measurement
  • Experience with technical SEO (crawlability, indexability, accessibility) for product and SEO driven blog
  • Understanding of web content management, syndication and digital asset management
  • Proven history in ability to concisely and accurately facilitate communication between technical support team and executive / eCom / marketing team.
