This position is about total business management. The role is responsible for developing and advancing Fanatics’ partnerships using data, category insights and research coupled with an enthusiasm and passion for Fanatics’ mission. We're seeking someone who is entrepreneurial, takes initiative, who is highly motivated and possesses clear and persuasive communication skills. The ideal candidate will understand revenue and marketplace management, merchandising, promotion development, complexities of the supply chain and utilize the appropriate techniques/skills to gain the customer support for new solutions and opportunities. The number one goal for the sales team is to build strategic partnerships and collaborate with retail and internal partners create the future marketplace to deliver against business results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the accounts business from “Sell In” to “Sell Through”
  • Manage and drive weekly account communication, meetings, and presentations
  • Take financial accountability for forecasting units and revenue with full alignment with customer open-to-buy plans
  • Manage reporting - Weekly/Monthly Sales vs. Forecast
  • Track, Monitor and Report Monthly Orders and Sales
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure success by building collaborative relationships with planning, merchandising, marketing & customer service
  • Work closely with sales operations team to analyze daily POS, present proposed new orders for replenishment/chase and drive sales opportunities
  • Develop a thorough retail marketplace understanding
  • Deliver strong performance against required sales/revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum 5 years of sales experience in the wholesale apparel industry
  • Thorough understanding of go-to-market process
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to understand and interpret account financials
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships that resulted in sales growth
  • Must be able to maintain effective internal relationships to facilitate sales
  • Demonstrated passion for professional or college sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc)
  • Intermediate computer skills to include Excel and Word
