Overview

 

ZBiotics (zbiotics.com), a San Francisco-based DTC company funded by Y Combinator and Khosla Ventures, is looking for a driven and highly tactical full-time marketing operations specialist. As we grow our brand, we will need assistance with projects ranging from CRM/email marketing programs, documentation and asset organization, agency/partnership management, and marketing reports. This position reports to the Director of Growth Marketing and sits within the Marketing Department.

 

Our flagship product is the world’s first genetically engineered probiotic drink. It contains a probiotic microbe engineered to break down acetaldehyde, the primary culprit behind rough mornings after drinking. We use genetic engineering to provide consumers with amazing new products that enhance their daily lives in unprecedented ways.

Responsibilities

 

Including but not limited to:

 

  • Coordination with advertising agencies
  • Creative asset organization and management
  • Full ownership of customer referral program by day 90
  • Partnership/vendor requests and research management
  • Marketing campaign creation and testing
  • CRM/database organization and growth
  • Metrics reporting and analysis
  • Partnerships project management
  • Other growth operations tasks (documentation, organizing files, etc.)

 

Requirements

 

Must have (if your experience doesn’t align perfectly but you are a dedicated, quick learner, please apply):

 

  • 3-4 years work experience with 1-2 years of marketing operations, analysis, or project management experience minimum
  • Experience with process automation (Zapier, Workato, Zoho Flows, etc.)
  • Extremely organized, highly motivated, especially with time-sensitive projects
  • Experience with marketing automation/CRM (we use Customer.io/Klaviyo)
  • Experience with project management tools (we use Asana and Notion)
  • Comfortable with Google Drive Suite and Dropbox
  • Willingness to wear multiple hats and pitch in when help is needed

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Experience with FB/IG advertising and Google Ads
  • Experience with other advertising platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.)
  • Experience with basic email coding and design, focused on mobile-first
  • DTC/e-commerce experience
  • Organic growth marketing experience (SEO, content marketing, partnerships, etc.)
  • A love for science!
