To The Moon

We’re seeking an experienced Influencer and Ambassador Manager to join our growth marketing team. Reporting to our Director of Growth, this role will be key in building out our influencer and brand ambassador programs. The right candidate will already have pre-existing relationships with influencers in the fashion/apparel/retail space and will help identify new partnerships and areas of focus.

As the Influencer and Ambassador Manager, you will own the execution of major influencer and brand ambassador campaigns including sourcing, negotiating terms and usage rights, sending product, and working with Creative on getting assets approved from the Influencers and ambassadors. You will be managing dashboards to help identify, track and grow influencer related KPIs.

While the primary responsibilities of this role are within the Growth Team, you’ll get ample exposure to all aspects of a young, fast-growing brand.

This is a remote position, with a slight preference for NYC.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect, negotiate, and coordinate product sends to key influencers and partners across a variety of channels - Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and others.
  • Collaborate with the brand manager to help successfully increase visibility and exposure while maintaining a positive representation of the brand, our mission and values
  • Negotiate partnerships with new influencers and foster relationships with existing contacts to have a robust roster for consistent content output
  • Work with performance marketing team to assist in creating UGC assets for ads
  • Maintain a content schedule and approve all creative assets
  • Manage and execute influencer campaigns, with a main KPI of driving new revenue
  • Track and analyze performance of influencer campaigns, content, and conversion rates to estimate ROI and advise on best strategies
  • Oversee and approve measurable recaps and reports to demonstrate campaign performance
  • Innovate and enhance our influencer marketing approach, staying on top of the latest talent and trends
  • Identify new areas and types of partnerships we should pursue
  • Understand how to align brand vision with an influencer’s persona
  • Work with agency partners to help manage influencer prospecting and process where appropriate
  • Oversee our ambassador program, consisting of both influencers and high value customers
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized a must
  • Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self motivated and possess an aggressive work ethic. No egos.
  • Desire to work in a start-up environment, where iteration and learning is encouraged. No task is too small.
  • Scrappy, willing to roll up sleeves, and has an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence and articulate clear, measurable objectives after developing a detailed understanding of the business goals
  • Experience working with a DTC brand a plus

 

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years working in influencer marketing, agency or brand, in the accessories and / or apparel space
  • Experience with ambassador platforms like Dovetail, Fohr, Grin, etc
  • Extensive networks of influencers and creators across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Expert level of knowledge in influencer marketing, include who’s who in talent, agencies, best practices, market and pricing standards
  • Personal passion for influencer marketing, discovering new talent, tracking brands and campaigns, knowing who is cool and new to the scene
  • Extensive experience with influencer marketing contracts, both writing contracts and reviewing them
  • Balance of both creative and strategic thinking, this person must have the equal ability to cast a campaign aligned with the brand’s aesthetic, while delivering on performance marketing goals by being extremely data-driven
  • Strong knowledge of performance data and reporting
  • Highly organized and have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • A strong, natural and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to thrive in ambiguity and create a personal path forward
  • Adaptable and flexible and take a proactive approach to your work, with minimum oversight or guidance.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at a time, demonstrating an ability to prioritize responsibilities to quickly and effectively meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated autonomy to lead a project in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with all levels of influencers and brand ambassadors from micro to major celebrities, both male and female
  • Relationship-builder: Always thinking of ways to add value to the partners and create a stronger bond between Baboon To the Moon and the partner
