Where do we need your help? Building our DTC business is of the utmost importance as our business scales. We are looking for an expert in the eComm world with a strong background in strategy, customer experience, and analytics. As an eComm leader, the ideal candidate should be an expert in online sales strategies and the various platforms used to conduct digital sales and conversions on a website. In addition to driving strategy, they will be responsible for creating a team culture that will drive performance through measurement.

 

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a technical Shopify and ReCharge expert.
  • Own the user experience of our website, including site experience, product merchandising, campaign roadmap, and conversion funnel.
  • Work cross-functionally with all teams to ensure thorough QA and timely publishing of all web content.
  • Optimize the user experience of the online stores including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing UI/UX and work with developers to carry out requests.
  • Monitor performance of analytics, website traffic, and product performance.
  • Work daily with the in-house customer service team to ensure the website is functioning properly for site visitors and ReCharge subscribers.
  • Manage eCommerce merchandising strategy to increase brand equity, awareness, and revenue.
  • Partner with the Marketing Director for alignment of branding and storytelling to enhance engagement, viewership, traffic, and conversions.
  • Proactively A/B test new efforts on the website and landing pages.
  • Generate and present regular reports based on KPIs, business goals, and needs.
  • Identify new areas of eComm opportunity beyond current offerings.
  • Strategize, budget, plan and execute seasonal promos to meet revenue targets.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials and campaigns related to website revenue.
  • Stay current with compliance and ensure that vitacup.com is up to date and adhering to rules and regulations.

 

PRODUCT LAUNCHES

  • Oversee product launch strategy (add/remove products to the site, build new bundles, pricing, discount logic around promos).
  • Build a repeatable cycle of launching new products, quickly optimizing the consumer experience, learning about customer purchasing patterns, and adjusting to maximize long-term business opportunities.
  • Partner with the Operations Team to work with our 3PL relating to customer order issues and work towards finding and implementing solutions for these issues.
  • Play a key role in our go-to-market strategy and maintain a close relationship with the brand management and sales teams, representing the digital consumer and eCommerce efforts in the process.

 

LANDING PAGES

  • Support the Paid Media Director on paid initiatives, landing pages, traffic, and conversions.
  • Help build and optimize landing pages and assist in analytical reporting.

 

SEO & OWNED MARKETING

  • Drive SEO strategies with a thorough understanding of how search engine crawlers and websites work.
  • Partner with the Owned Marketing & Retention Manager to optimize SEO efforts, build-out seasonal DTC campaigns, and monitor revenue from owned channels (Email, SMS, Push Notifications, Loyalty Programs).

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce.
  • A seasoned professional in the digital retailing market with strong B2C experience.
  • Expert in Shopify Plus.
  • Experience with Recharge Payments App (Shopify).
  • Solid understanding of various eCommerce tools, upsell apps, and Shopify Apps (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics,).
  • Fluent in Digital Marketing & eCommerce KPIs – CPA, LTV, Repeat Purchase Rate, ROAS, etc.
  • Knowledge and implementation of the tools, methods, and approaches that drive higher conversion rates, increased average order value, and customer acquisition
  • Must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be willing to roll up your sleeves (this is not a traditional 9-5 job).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated smart decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Agile and scrappy, capable of delivering results while resources scale.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with the CPG industry.
  • Has worked with and/or managed a multi-million dollar eCommerce business.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (Klaviyo, Attentive, Friendbuy, Yotpo, Loyalty Lion, AimTell).
  • Experience in the health and wellness space is a plus, but not required.
