Position: Head of Social

You will serve as the lead for Influencer Marketing and Social Media Management. The Head of Social will be focused on the following: (1) own the development and execution of our influencer marketing strategy and (2) own the development and execution of comprehensive multi-platform, social-first content strategies across key channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snap, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and emerging platforms) to drive awareness, engagement and conversion.

 

(1) Influencer:

  • Source, vet, recommend, and contract influencer talent based on internal KPIs
  • Utilize influencer management platform software to drive strategy
  • Execute successful influencer campaigns across various verticals
  • Efficiently manage deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Establish strong rapport with trusting talent relationships
  • Demonstrate ability to negotiate with talent and agents, including at the celebrity level
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the changing social landscape and industry trends and technologies

 

(2) Social media:

  • Work with the greater team to blueprint and develop asset creation + social media strategy.
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms on a daily basis
  • Manage ‘community’ on all social channels; engage with consumers via messages, comments, likes on the brand's behalf and in brand voice.
  • Remain up to date on trending content, conversations, news, cultural events, and engaging social formats
  • Real-time monitoring of social channels to identify strategic opportunities and flag potential issues
  • Lead weekly check-in’s with clients and keep them up to date on content reviews + asset requests

 

About You:

The ideal candidate is a social savvy storyteller with analytical acumen who can translate trends and key learnings into creative social activations. The role reports to the CEO and will work closely with the wider marketing, creative & DTC team as well as external agency partners.

  • 2+ years of account or project management experience with experience in executing influencer campaigns
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple projects, teams, clients
  • In-depth knowledge of influencer + social marketing space with focus on all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat)
  • Self-starter with the ability to own projects, work independently, prioritize and get things done.
  • Unparalleled commitment to excellence - Calm under pressure and willing to assist with ad hoc needs for the common goal of growth.
  • Quarterly traveled as required
