Smartrr is looking for a Head of Marketing

Smartrr is building a revolutionary product in the e-commerce space, and members of our revenue team will be acting as the face of the company as we go on this journey, selling to D-to-C shops in all verticals, as well as working directly with some of the country’s top agencies. We are expanding quickly and we're looking for team members to spearhead our marketing efforts.

 

Our mission is to help growing D-to-C brands deliver a customer-centric subscription and membership solution.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for leading our B2B marketing strategy efforts, including brand development, demand generation and channel marketing initiatives that translate into increased market share. This position reports to the CEO and is a key member of the company's leadership team. The position is ideal for a highly-capable, high-functioning and experienced individual who can work on multiple important and engaging assignments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support and grow our marketing team while collaborating across the organization to establish workflows and processes that scale
  • Lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy and go-to market efforts
  • Organize, develop and manage our brand guidelines to help our team scale through a cohesive growth plan, and use a data informed mindset to help drive results
  • Support the creation of positioning and messaging for key products and solutions with input from product management, industry solutions, sales, and marketing
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive and execute the product marketing go-to-market strategy. Track and report against objectives
  • Partner with sales to drive qualified prospective customers to the funnel and engage them with the right messaging. One of your team’s success indicators will be driving leads that engage with Sales
  • Partner with product to ensure proper communication and marketing around all product releases and updates
  • Continuously measure and communicate success of B2B marketing approaches and programs
  • Partner with Product Management and Industry Solutions to understand product strategy and features

 

Smartrr is backed by some of the world's most prominent angel investors and venture capital firms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing (experience in e-comm is a plus!)
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, decision-makers and competitive landscape preferred
  • Proven success scaling a B2B marketing team in a high-growth environment
  • Deep experience designing and implementing marketing strategies and demand generation programs that have consistently contributed to meeting/exceeding revenue targets, including experience with ABM, CRM, list acquisition, marketing automation, events and RFP/RFIs
  • Experience leading new business initiatives cross-functionally, and presenting and selling ideas to varied audiences
  • Polished professional who leads by example, is team-oriented and self-motivated, and has strong ownership over their responsibilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a "get it done" attitude
  • Ability to develop effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
  • Exceptional organizational skills to define and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
